The freshest new talent in Irish jazz will be showcasing their wares in a FREE series of music hosted by Newpark Music Centre, featuring bands lead by the college's graduating class. This is a great opportunity to hear the next generation now, as well as some treats in the after-concert jam session.
In what amounts to a festival of young Irish jazz, over eight Tuesday nights at the Twisted Pepper in Abbey Street, sixteen groups, lead by sixteen different musicians will take to the stage and perform a programme of original music devised and developed by these wonderful young players.
16 bands, 80 musicians, jam sessions – this is a feast of music which will take place every Tuesday night over the next sixteen weeks (dates below). Admission is free so please come down if you can and support the musicians, the music and the future of jazz in Ireland.
All concerts start at 8pm
