Get Physical have announced the release of one of the most unique concepts for a compilation album in years.

“Final Song” is a collection of songs picked by some of the top names in the dance world that they would like to be played at their funeral.

Although quite a morbid theme, it has sparked a frenzy of posts on internet forums as to what people would like as their own swan song.

Some of the artists who submitted tracks for the album include Dj T, Giles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin and Coldcut, it has been rumoured that some Djs declined from the compilation due to the controversial topic.

The album is due for release on the 6th of February in Europe and 9th of March in the US.
