Rumours laid to rest... for now.

After much internet speculation over the weekend, the crew behind Matter have come out and said that the super club will temporarily shut it's doors over the summer.

Club managment have claimed, "We can confirm that the Matter nightclub has temporarily closed over the summer period with a view to re-launching later in the year. This decision has been taken by the owners of Matter."

“The reopening will be considered over the course of the next few months and we will keep you advised when further information is available.”

The club which is situated in the O2 complex in North Greenwich have reportedly lost up to £3 million since the club opened.

We will keep you updated as to whether or not Matter will open it's doors again.
