The forum editor contains a row of buttons, the insert image button is the one with the little rectangle frame, and this is the easiest and probably quickest way to insert photos into your posts. However you might want to do it a different way, so heres how it works:


To insert an image, you use the following code:


![Alternate Text of image](http://www.bodytonicmusic.com/img/headers/header_bg.jpg) becomes Alternate Text of image


Note you will only see the alternate text if the image cannot be loaded, so its not really that important what the text is.


flickr Images


There is a special case if you're adding Flickr images, because the process is a lot simpler thanks to our auto-embedding feature. If you want to link an image from Flickr, all you have to do is copy and paste the URL of the Photo page. Here is an example of a Photo page:

And copy and pasting this address as is will insert the photo of that page into the post like this:
