went down saturday , had great fun at it . sound for arcarde fire was terrible, but other than that had a blast, no queues for anything, or areas too busy or hectic, toilets all decent . numbers wise its probably a bit off where it used to be pre-recession, but all the better for it

didnt really see anything that blew me away, too busy having random fun but jape, kormac, SSS, fly lo, james blake, and even arcade fire with shit sound were all good

What a fantastic weekend. Didn't see too much music on friday, just buzzing around Body and Soul and Movember. Tensnake were really good. For me saturday had the best music lineup. Crazy P were brilliant as always, their new songs are great. RSAG, Kormac, Horse meat disco and Jape were all excellent. Thought Paul Kalkbrenner was shite but my pals were loving it. Spent most of sunday afternoon in the little big tent then up Bacardi tent for the evening. Greg Wilson was deadly but I got dragged away from him to Underworld who were good fun anyway. Was looking forward to the Family stone on the main stage but they were a bit "meh", sound was truly shite from where I was standing. Unfortunately missed Scribble soundsystem, Chem Brothers and Pulp. Only lowlights were some of the security staff at the gates were obnoxious pricks and it was so cold on saturday night, thought it was going to snow, thankfully I was staying in a hotel. You'd really notice numbers were down as Trev said no queues for anything. All in all brillant weekend, lots of happy familiar faces around.

Bacardi Bar, Chunky chips stall, Trinity Orchestra doing Daft punk,
Chemical brothers, The sound at the chemical bothers was surpringly good, Jimmy cliff, The
Japenese popstars, Body & Soul, Free Ticket in, Underworld once again been as class as always
& just the cool people around me............
Lowlights:
Alan, Alan, Steve everywhere was fairly annoying, Losing things,
Missing: Karl Hyde's DJ set on the arcadia stage, White lies, Foster the
people, The drums, Public domain Bass in the place been played on the
salty dog stage made me want to cry

Reading lots of reports of people getting robbed whilst asleep, fucking disgusting carry on. I didnt see much scum myself thank god & i've been to them all and I have never got robbed which is obviously great but i'd love to know how they can stop it as it'll just ruin it in future

was Paul K on before Fly Lotus ? i've a vague memory - were were drinking some funny rum chai tais from the B&S area at this stage - of seeing/ heaing him , that cheesy tune he has. im guessing it was him. he was shite , deffo

Not a good weeken at Electric Picnic for me. Delighted to be home early and will never go back.

Who robs a tent, sleeping bags etc? Lots of people at EP according to
security. I was one of the many people stung but luckier than some I
guess. I didn't feel it when I realised I was homeless while standing in
the torrental rain at 1:30am on Saturday morning, but after talking to
security and hearing about all the aggressive knife related robberies I
was lucky the knackers stole my gear on the sly.

i lost my phone or else it was nicked from from jacket , copped on within maybe 2-5 mins max, rang out 3 times then was switched off. mad thing is , its on a pin, so its pointless knicking it, but there ya go.

i really can't understand how someone would find a phone at a festival and not do their best to return it to the owner. there's a fuck load of them out there obviously..

Went down the Sunday and had a great day. Nice vibe, not too packed. Just floated around for a lot of the day. Really enjoyed Underworld and Pulp.
Friend of mine got his wallet stolen whilst he was asleep in his tent. Knackers.
