Good evening, quick question for any vestax users, bought a set of 1210's and a Vestax PMC (05) of a guy about 2 months ago, but with a mountain of exams and work I only had time to get them set up this evening. The 1210s are groovy i'd had them up and running before, but the mixer (which was running perfectly in his when i bought them) is completely dead, Im wondering is it the power adapter im using, which is just a run of the mill shaver adapter, as the mixers power lead is 2 pin, any suggestions or similar experiences?

    Appreciate it!

The fuse is prob gone in the shaver adaptor. IF the Mixer is running on 220v you don't need it just bypass it.

also check that the voltage and amage requirements on the bottom of the mixer match the ones detailled on the wall plug

    thanks for the replies!

the vestax power is input 230v and output 15v, and ive been using a 1a 250v 2 pin adapter, presume thats where the problems coming from, although admittedly ive no idea

check the amps aswell, v important. otherwise, even if the pins match, you may fry your mixer
