Great night. The sound was too low for the first half but it seemed to be ramped up for the last 45mins (although this may have been the yokes). i thought Ian Browns vocals held up and the only downside for me was trudging out of phoenix park at the end which seemed to take ages.
Can't imagine anyone left dissappointed and it was the same set list as the Manchester gig
I Wanna Be Adored
Mersey Paradise
(Song for My) Sugar Spun Sister
Sally Cinnamon
Where Angels Play
Shoot You Down
Bye Bye Badman

Gig was great. Bar was a joke, seriously who runs these things? An armless monkey could do better.
Mud/hike was a bit of a challenge, only gonna get worse by Sunday I'd say.

Great gig. Was very easily accessible via the Ahstown gate, ten minutes walk from the enteance tops. However, the walk out was HORRIFIC. Took us the guts of 90 minutes to get to town, and even then we were only in Stoney Batter basically. Went to TP but upon arrival had a dramatic last minute change of heart and went home. Deliriah with me Stira at that decision.
And as for the bar. What the blazes ? And they were shut by half 9 ? BoC
Sound was far far better at the back where you had 2 line arrays either side of the sound rig. And plenty of room to slip around in the muck. Fair play to them, sang me heart out and went home happy. 4 bananas out of 5

Interesting documentary
I'll always remember a good few years back seeing Ian Brown crossing Temple Bar square. Not believing my eyes I shouted over and caught his attention, he strolled back and asked where was good around for a pint I told him; "not around here".
At this point a few teenage girls started sreaming and one of them started to pull on his clothes. He pulled her by her shirt and said to her "Don't you F**king dare touch me again; understand!".
He turned around and cool as cucumber asked me "so mate where was you sayin was good for a pint?" - told him to go to the stags head and pointed directions. He then asked me how many peeps I'd like to be put on the guestlist for his show in the Olympia that night!Heard afterwards it wasn't long after his "air rage incident"
