The Club of the Future?
A brand new club in London is planning to pull in punters not by providing the best music or DJs but by promising to be the very first fully interactive bar in the world.
A brand new club in London is planning to pull in punters not by providing the best music or DJs but by promising to be the very first fully interactive bar in the world.
The club, called 24, claims to offer the future of London night-life with its admittedly incredible looking design. The walls of the place are adorned with full length projections, controlled by some magical voodoo (aka a computer and a visuals guy) and which react to the touch of curious punters.
As well as the projections, there a tonne of LED lights around the place, creating loads of different lighting schemes. What sounds the coolest, or possibly the most abused, feature of the place is that the bar continues this interactive theme:
"You put a glass down; the bar will react to it and send out light beams across to the base of our drink. If you touch the bar with your hand light will shoot out towards you and alert the barman that you require a drink."
Our guess is he'll still ignore you. Also we suspect the kind of music featured here will be of the variety designed to pull in Mr. Z List Celebrity, or cheesy rubbish. But still, it might be worth checking out just for the visuals. Check the photos.
