Arthur Delaney from Born Blonde gets Straight to the Point with BTM.com...

The first record I bought was…

Blur - The Great Escape on tape.

The last record I listened to was…

Octopus Project - Hexadecagon is one we have all got into recently. The first track 'Fuguefat' is a standout.

The record that I always go back to is...

Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden. It is a masterpiece of minimalism and has inspired a lot of our favorite bands. It took them a year and a half to make in near darkness and they got taken to court by their label for its 'un-commerciality'. It is brave and intense but also beautiful and it seems to give more the more you listen. Sublime.

My biggest musical inspiration is...

Neil Young, he has managed to keep putting out impeccable records throughout his career and has stayed true to his ethics throughout. The more i write music the more i realise that it is all about honesty and that is at the centre of his vision.

The record I pretend I don't love is

... the one i dont listen to.

My first gigging experience was...

A boozer in South London called the Half Moon. There always seemed to be a fight going on.

My worst gigging experience was...

...the one I've blanked from my memory.

Best gigging experience was...

The Arthurs Day celebration in Dublin a couple of years ago has got to be up there. We ended up running from our first gig to our second one with all our gear through the streets of Dublin to catch our stage time but the atmosphere in both venues was pretty special.

The person I would least like to share a stage with would be...

Noel Edmonds.

If I wasn't a musician I would be...

A dysfunctional human...

My favorite YouTube video is...

Nice Nice - Everything Falling Apart, directed by Yoshi Sodeoka
